The project's goal was to design a poem artistically and conceptually using the broadside format, focusing on poems written by children from the Cali Kids Medical Foundation. I chose to work with Ryder's poem because of its sweet and heartwarming nature. I illustrated the little chicken, bear, and Reese's candies around the poem. The final piece was printed and displayed at a special event at the hospital, alongside the children who contributed to its creation.
